Happy New Year to all our Beading Friends!

We hope that you have had a happy holiday season!

At this time of year, one can’t avoid thinking about the concept of New Year’s Resolutions. The New York Times asked readers to submit their best advice for the beginning of the new year. Two complementary ideas stood out:

"Keeping a running list of the nicest things anyone has ever said to or about you. It's a lifesaver on days when the world is getting the best of you. ~ Dave Clarke, Wauwatosa, Wis."

"There are many things I can't control, but I can control how I do or don't respond. I can't control others' thoughts of me. ~ Chloe Stuck, Rolla, MO."

A mentor many years ago observed that it is easier to criticise than to praise and criticism certainly leads to negativity. With all that is going on in the world, we hope the two ideas above motivate some positive thinking about you and your world and that they set the stage for a wonderful and creative 2024.

January is always inventory time and an opportunity to improve our organization of items. With this in mind, there are a few ideas in the newsletter about storage of our personal beading supplies which you might find useful.

Very best wishes for a happy and healthy 2024! We are grateful that you are part of our world and are thankful for your support and friendship as we move forward.
