Courses
Start the New Year off learning a new technique. We have 7 classes being offered later this month.
Classes must be paid for in advance and there is a maximum of 5 students per class. Fees include a kit.
Tuesday February 6th - 1:30 to 4pm - $45
Beading 101 - Learn the basics of beading including crimping a bracelet, making earrings & an overview on stringing materials and tools.
Saturday February 10th - 9:30 to 12pm - $60
Loom 101 - Create a loomed bracelet with seed beads. The loom is included in the kit fee.
Tuesday February 13th - 1:30 to 4pm - $65
Wire Crochet - Using 26 gauge wire and an assortment of beads, create a chunky bracelet.
Saturday February 17th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Beaded Scarf - Using 8/0 seed beads, create a beaded scarf using the netting technique. This technique is labour intensive: you will not complete the project in class.
Saturday February 17th - 1:00 to 3:30pm - $60
Tila & Duo Wrap - Using 11/0 & 15/0 seed beads, Tila and SuperDuo beads, create a double wrap bracelet. This technique can also be used to make a single or triple wrap.
Tuesday February 20th - 1:30 to 4pm - $60
Wave Necklace - Using 4mm beads and 10/0 seed beads, create a wavy style necklace. The same technique can be used with larger beads are well.
Saturday February 24th - 9:30 to 12pm - $65
Loopy Wire Pendant - Using wire and an assortment of gemstone beads, create a wire pendant with matching earrings.
Shows
March marks the beginning of our travel season. The Peterborough show is the 2nd to 3rd so we are going to feature it in this newsletter. You can see all the shows we will be participating at by clicking on the "Trade Shows" tab on our website. Some of the dates ara tentative as we await for show contracts to arrive. We hope you are able to come and see us at one (or many) of our shows this year. We always love to see familiar faces and meet new people.
